First time on the mat
If you’ve never practiced yoga before, The Bindu is a great place to start. All you need is an open mind. We have everything else – mats, props, well-qualified, caring teachers and a wonderful supportive community.
We open 30 minutes before class, so you have plenty of time to arrive early and get settled.
Our front desk staff will greet you when you arrive. Tell them you are new to yoga and they will show you around the studio and introduce you to the teacher.
Be sure to let the instructor know it’s your first time and share any physical conditions (surgeries, chronic pain, etc.) so the instructor can help you move through class in a safe and optimal way for your body.
