Bindu Holiday Weekend Schedule

The Bindu has a full range of classes for you this holiday weekend.  Bring your friends and come join the fun!

SATURDAY 9/4/10
Sari – 9am
Great mixed level class with a focus on nourishing yourself so that you can flourish – standing up and upside down!
Sari – 10:30am
Enjoy a gentle stretch class to release the tension of the week and feed yourself deeply with the breath.

SUNDAY 9/5/10
Kelley- 9am
Up-tempo mixed level class with a focus on increasing the vital force within.
Sunday – 5:30pm - canceled today

MONDAY (Labor Day) 9/6/10
Kelley – 9:30-11:30 am
Join Kelley for a fun 2-hour “practice with the teacher” focusing on hip openers, twists, and forward folds
Kelley – 4:30-5:30pm
End your holiday weekend with a wonderful potpourri class to celebrate life and set you up for a great week.
Robert – 6pm
Beginners Tai Chi

Chakra dance
Chakra Dance is a fun and funky class that re-energizes the body, refreshes  the mind, and renews the spirit. Incorporating vigorous movements, veil work, T’ai Chi, stretching and meditation, the class transports us to a place of joy and freedom, where we are encouraged to express our unique manifestations of the Universe. Based on the ancient energetic system of the Chakras, each class will focus on a specific chakra, leading to a deeper understanding and awareness of our personal energies and how we can use movement to nurture and sustain ourselves. Suitable for women of all fitness levels; no previous dance experience necessary.

Tai Chi Series
Learn the fundamental principles and practices of tai chi including simple movements, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. These easy to learn and do techniques restore proper body function, calm the emotions and quite the mind. Tai chi helps you create effectiveness and peacefulness from the inside out.
