About Kelley GardnerAt last the class that does it all, and it is appropriate for anyone who has been practicing yoga for 6 months or more. This mixed-level class strengthens bones and muscles, increases flexibility, and supports a healthy heart. Using free weights (totally optional) and yoga to build stability, vitality and endurance, students progress safely, at their own pace to gain maximum benefit from each session. Each class begins with warmups and, weather permitting, we go outside for interval walk/jogging. You get to choose whether you walk or do a combination of walk/jog. Then we practice alignment-based yoga and breath work while using 3,4 or 5 lb free weights to strategically strengthen arms, legs, core and the back body.
