Down By The Water

Every so often I find myself down by the water, staring into the depths as well as the shallows, and wondering what’s beyond all that I can see clearly now, with the limited vision that I have. Each day I see a little more, and yet somehow things get lost in my eyes, and fixated upon and distilled. It’s knowing that make it OK, because I know that the person next to me, or behind me, or someone near them, will see what I haven’t seen, and together we’ll get the full picture.
