Just Be

Hear that? No? Listen again. It’s not giving up or resisting, it’s acceptance. For who you are, where you’re at and what you’re doing. And change is what’s around the corner, if change is what you’re after. But for now, just be. In this moment just be OK with you, and call it a growing step. A lesson. An ending or a beginning, depending on how you look at it. It’s all the same, and all within you as a possibility. Now breathe. Don’t force it, just breathe. And when you exhale let out only that which needs to no longer be part of yourself and your experience. Feeling better? Do you know you do this all day, and yet you rarely notice it? Maybe the self love bit is new, but make it part of every day too, and then tell me you don’t feel better, the breeze isn’t cooler and the sun’s light isn’t more comforting. Failure isn’t even an option, so I don’t know why you think it exists. Bumps along the path – they exist, but that’s why sometimes we use a pencil that can be erased.
