Sometimes winning means protecting your own physical or mental being, that of your friends and family and your capacity to move forward. It’s not about winning somebody else’s opinion or judgement, but about self. And that doesn’t mean giving up, it means standing tall amongst adversity, and small amongst victory. Being true to yourself and knowing what is right.
