Not Forgetting But Finding Balance

The wind whistled, but it wasn’t a tune this time, it was melancholy and lost. For it had lost a friend and did not understand how nature works. How what is viewed as brutal endings can spur new life, and renewal and reincarnation – other beginnings. Still, sadness prevailed. Usually at these times, wind retreated to the branches of the bare trees, or went through rock passes to audibly express its emotions, and this was no different, except this time it passed a pile of rocks and, unbeknownst at the moment, seeped in between the crevices and brought life to someone trapped within, waking them and encouraging strength to free themselves and come to safety. Seeing this, the wind returned to share a song, not forgetting but finding balance.
